Before the current lockdown restrictions came into effect for Sydney, Creator Academy students toured the Sydney Metro Trains Facility to conduct research and speak to experts about the importance of railway safety of the hi-tech self-driving railway network.
Students learned about the safety, security and control mechanisms put in place to run Sydney’s newest form of public transport.
In preparation for the new FIRST LEGO League: Cargo Connect season, students used the rare opportunity to experience what it was like to work in the mass transport industry and learn about the new cutting edge technologies demonstrated by Sydney Metro’s North West Line operator, Metro Trains Sydney.
