What an incredible day at Optus HQ!
Today, we had the pleasure of bringing the magic of robotics to life during our Robotics Showcase Day at Optus headquarters. Staff were thrilled to get hands-on with our VEX Robotics demonstrations, taking our competition robots for a spin and experiencing the excitement firsthand.

Crowds gathered in awe as our LEGO Rubik’s Cube solving robot "Mindcuber" by David Gilday and Computer Vision-controlled robot arm by Garry Law showed off their smarts—both built by the brilliant young minds at Creator Academy.
To top it all off, we ran a delicious chocolate fundraiser with treats from The Rocky Road House, raising money to support our student teams.
A massive thank you to Optus for not only hosting us but also sponsoring our robotics team to the World Championships next month. Days like this are a powerful reminder of the impact of STEM education and the potential of young innovators when given the tools and support to thrive.
