Celebrating Student Success at the Inaugural Ryde VEX V5 Robotics Tournament

Yesterday’s inaugural Ryde VEX V5 Robotics Tournament brought together nine teams from across Sydney for an exciting day of innovation, teamwork, and competition. Creator Academy is proud to have supported students who represented their schools with distinction:

Ryde Secondary College – A team of four students impressed with their skill and resilience, ranking 1st after qualifications, finishing as Tournament Finalists, and taking home the prestigious Excellence Award, recognising all-round achievement in design, performance, and competition success.

Marist College Eastwood – In their very first VEX tournament, the team achieved an impressive rank 2 seed in qualifications and earned the Tournament Finalists Award after a thrilling run to the finals.

Santa Sabina College – Two students, brand new to robotics, received the Innovate Award for their unique holonomic drive design, a recognition of their creativity and engineering ingenuity.

We extend our sincere thanks to Ryde Secondary College, Marist College Eastwood, and Santa Sabina College for trusting Creator Academy to support their robotics journey. It is a privilege to mentor and guide such passionate and talented students, and we look forward to seeing their continued growth in upcoming competitions.
