CA Robotics Teams Shine at Pymble Ladies College VEX Robotics Tournament

This past weekend, our robotics teams had the incredible opportunity to compete at the Pymble Ladies College VEX Robotics tournament. We are thrilled to share the amazing achievements of our teams, 27272A Phoenix Tech and 27272X Mecha Magpies, who not only showcased their talents but also brought home prestigious awards.

Tournament Highlights

Our teams put in months of hard work, and it all paid off in a spectacular way. Both 27272A Phoenix Tech and 27272X Mecha Magpies qualified in the top spots, securing first and second place respectively. Their outstanding performance carried them all the way to the finals, where they faced off against fierce competition with poise and professionalism.

Award-Winning Teams

We are especially proud to announce that:

  • Team 27272A Phoenix Tech was honored with the Create Award, a recognition of their innovative approach and creative problem-solving throughout the competition. This award is a testament to their ability to think outside the box and develop unique solutions that impressed the judges.

  • Team 27272X Mecha Magpies received the Build Award for their exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. Their robot's design and construction stood out among the many competitors, highlighting the team's dedication to building a reliable and efficient machine.

A Memorable Experience

Beyond the accolades, the tournament was a fantastic experience for all our students. They had the chance to connect with like-minded peers, learn from other teams, and most importantly, enjoy the thrill of competition in a supportive and inspiring environment.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to Pymble Ladies College for hosting this wonderful event. The organization and atmosphere were top-notch, and our students had a fantastic time. Events like these not only challenge our teams but also foster a love for STEM and robotics that will last a lifetime.
