Blue Futurology Places 2nd, Qualifies for National Tournament

Blue Futurology places 2nd at the Wahroonga regional tournament to qualify for the Australian National Championships!

Blue Futurology is made up of many new students to the FIRST LEGO League challenge format.

For the last six months, the students were navigating the disruptions of lockdown to collaborate online to create both their robotics and innovation project.

The result of their research is Snacks on Tracks, a food delivery system designed to speed up the delivery of food deliveries at houses to increase efficiency, safety and hygiene.

"We visited Metro Sydney headquarters to learn about how automation improves our way of life. Metro Trains Sydney operates one of the most advanced self-driving trains in the world.

We originally wanted to do a project based on train safety, but found that something else was impacting us more during lockdown: the quality of food deliveries. We decided to use what we learnt about automation and apply it to improving food transport." - Blue Futurology

Along with fellow team Phoenix Tech, Blue Futurology becomes the second Creator Academy team to qualify for the Australian National Championships in December, good luck team!
