Last weekend, Creator Academy students proudly represented Marist College Eastwood and Ryde Secondary College at the VEX Robotics Tournament hosted by Santa Sabina College.
After a full day of intense competition featuring 16 teams from across Sydney, the Marist and Ryde students formed an unbeatable alliance in the finals. With smart strategy, precision driving, and outstanding teamwork, they powered through a hotly contested match to claim the 🏆 Tournament Champions Award!
This is a fantastic milestone for both schools:
-
For Marist College Eastwood, students Oskar, Kevin, Ivan, and Jacob have shown rapid progress this season, climbing to No. 3 in Australia in the Skills rankings after just two events.
-
For Ryde Secondary College, this marks another historic achievement following their success at hosting their first-ever VEX V5 tournament only days earlier.
We are incredibly proud of the dedication, collaboration, and talent that these students continue to demonstrate. This victory reflects not just technical excellence but also the spirit of teamwork and perseverance that defines competitive robotics.
👏 Congratulations to both schools on this outstanding achievement—we can’t wait to see what’s next this season!
