For children 11+ years old. Python is a high-level programming language perfect for beginners and experienced students alike.
Beginners should attend Python Beginners.
All experience levels welcome, typing speed of 25 words per minute recommended (test typing speed at www.monkeytype.com):

About Australian Informatic Olympiad (from AIO site):
Australian Informatics Olympiad (AIO) recognises and challenges students with an interest in computer programming. Participating students will need some programming experience and be able to write code.
Allowed languages are C, C++, Java or Python 3.
Students who perform well in the AIO may be invited to participate in the AMT’s high-performance programs.
